This past June, Lizzie and Pat had a beautiful ceremony in Hagerstown, MD, and then a great reception at Liberty Mountain’s Alpine Room. These guys are high school sweethearts, which I’m a sucker for, because my wife and I are as well. :) Enjoy!

Rob proposed to Ashely at Boone Hall Plantation in Charleston, SC. So, when I met with them to discuss their wedding photography, and we talked about the engagement session, I saw their eyes light up. They quickly asked ‘would you be willing to do the shoot in Charleston?’, for me, this was a no brainer. I flew down last month and met them at the home of Ashley’s grandparents.
Our first stop was the plantation. We fought off heat stroke and malaria, but got some great images. :) We then went to the beach and of course downtown Charleston. It was an amazing time, and I’m really looking forward to their May wedding!

So last week, after weeks of rescheduling because of rain, and the not-so-great weather we had this summer, Jenn and Ryan were finally able to get a great day for their engagement session. This session was a little different. We obviously got the standard photos, but this couple wanted a little more. Both have a great sense of humor. Jenn contacted me a several times with different ideas. On the day of the session the original ideas couldn’t work out, however, we were able to improvise. Ryan saw this woodpile, and thought it would be funny if he sat relaxing, while Jenn put wood on the pile, like he was telling her what to do. After that shot, my mind took a slightly darker turn. I’ve been married for almost 10 years now, and now have a very small insight into what goes on in the mind of a woman. The second image shows what I’m sure Jenn would be thinking if she was told to put wood in a pile without any help. :)

A few weeks ago I had the privilege of shooting Teri’s senior photos. We don’t take on a lot of senior portrait sessions, but they are a lot of fun, and I really enjoy shooting them. Teri had a few outfit changes, and we went to several different locations from Waynesboro, PA to Hagerstown, MD. Here is just a handful of images from her shoot:
