Welcome to Aesthetic Life Studio's blog. Aesthetic Life Studio is the photography of Rodney Cool and Justin Bean.

Rodney, the owner and lead photographer, has been a photographer for over 15 years, and for the past 5, has been shooting professionally. His work has been published in several magazines and other publications.

Justin has been a photographer for several years, and started shooting for the studio last year. Justin has won several awards for his work, and has been published nationally.

Together, Rodney and Justin have a unique, artistic style of photography. While the main focus of the studio is weddings, Aesthetic Life also photographs portraits, including high school seniors, and takes commercial assignments.

Shannon & Mike’s Wedding at Veritas Vineyard & Winery in Afton, VA

On November 12th, Shannon and Mike were married at Veritas Vineyard and Winery in Afton, VA. I have shot over 200 weddings since 2006, and Veritas is the most beautiful location I have been too. They have thought of every detail, and have covered them perfectly. From the food to the specialty lighting, it is amazing. And of course, Shannon and Mike thought of every detail to create a day that could not have been more perfect. Here are just a few images from their rehearsal and wedding day:

Katy & Tom’s Wedding at St. Mary’s and Fountain Head Country Club

Katy and Tom were married this past August at St. Mary’s in Hagerstown, and then had an amazing reception at Fountain Head Country Club. I was with Katy and Tom for almost 12 hours that day, and personally shot over 5,000 images. That’s not a record for two shooters on a wedding day, but I’m pretty sure it’s a personal record. :) You will see why I couldn’t stop shooting, and this should explain why this post is so huge. Enjoy!
