  • finished up a great e-session, now going home #
  • I’m looking for a model 18-20. The shoot is this Thurs, so no time to go through a modeling site. It’s for a band photography project. #
  • busy day today. A contract meeting, meeting for a sign, & a photo shoot. sweet. #
  • Getting ready to go to a meeting for a June 2010 wedding. Wish me luck! #
  • Back home from a great meeting. 06/26/10 is now booked! I only have one Sat available for June 2010 (6/19). :) #

Cashtown, PA Engagement Session

March 28, 2009 – 8:00 pm

On Tuesday I had an engagement session with Melissa and Kevin.  They are getting married on May 2nd at ‘The Round Barn’ in Cashtown, PA.  Melissa and Kevin actually won an engagement session at a bridal show I attended.  Unfortunately, they already have a photographer for their wedding.  I know they are going to get some great photos; the Round Barn is awesome.  Kevin’s family owns and operates the barn, hence the farm and apple theme of the photos below.  Their website can be found here:

  • I’m taking this beautiful day to get some much needed yard work done. I’ll be checking email and vm often, I’ll also have my cell 2403297771 #
  • I’m leaving for a photo shoot at Liberty Mountain for Ridgerunner, then a meeting today with a pop-punk band for band photos - Awesome! #
  • Photo shoot was a lot of fun. Now to go through them and send them to the publisher. Next big item for today, a meeting for band photos. #
  • in line at Rita’s for a free Italian ice. :) This place is booken, wonder why? #
  • I need a few senior citizens for a photo shoot. Anyone know where I can find a few models/actors in the 60-80 age bracket? #

  • I now only have 2 Saturdays available in June 2010. Today was a good day. :) That makes 3 for 2010 already! #

Today I Saw a Robin in Waynesboro PA

Spring is around the corner.  I have proof!  Well, kind of.  I saw several robins today in my back yard.  I have a photo of the first one I saw.  I snapped it with my camera phone, so it’s super high quality.  :)

What?  You can’t see it?  Well, trust me, it’s there.

Anyway, this has been a pretty productive week.  I met with my engagement session winners from the HM Bridal Gala, I finished a wedding album, and today I met with two clients for June 2010 weddings, both of them signing a contract today.  Thanks, Megan and Brad, and Maggie and Dave!  (June 5th and 12th 2010 are now unavailable, unless I hire someone to shoot weddings on their own, something I’m seriously thinking about for next year.)  I also sent out a contract for a July 11, 2009 wedding, and received a retainer for May 15, 2010.  Not to mention the pending contract I have for May 17th of this year.  That might have been from last week, though.  :)  Oh, one other thing, I got some ’senior rep cards’ out to a 2009 client.  I was very pleased with these cards and will be posting them soon.

All this and I still had time to go out this evening in the 70 degree weather with my boy to play a little.  That makes for a good day.

I have several things in the works for the coming weeks and year.  Most of the things I’m working on I’m not ready to announce because they are in the planning stages or haven’t been officially finalized.  But, rest assured they will be awesome.  :)
