Halloween Senior Session

I said in yesterday’s post that I had a senior session today, and it was awesome!  We went into the woods to the Appalachian Trail and she was in last years prom dress.  The session just rocked all get out.  :)  While we were on the trail we met a hiker who was traveling from Maine to Georgia.  He started in July and only has about 990 miles to go.  LOL!  He also wanted his photo taken with L, the senior, he said he likes to document unusual things on the trail.  Well, a pretty girl in a prom dress in the middle of the woods is pretty unusual.  Anyway, here are the snaps I promised.

I thought the photo above had a kind of fairy tale feel to it.  Like Snow White or something.  I can see Prince Charming kind of appearing from the end of the trail.  Ok, so maybe that sounds a little lame, but it does have a Disney ad feel to it, though.  :)

This was my 3 year old’s favorite.  He was sitting with me when I was working on it.  He kept asking to see the Thomas picture, as in Thomas the Tank Engine.

These are just a handful and I could have worked on them all night!  We didn’t even finish our session, so we will be going out again this Sunday.  I hope to add those to the blog as well.  Please leave your comments and let me know what you think!

First Post

Ok, so here is my first post on my brand spank’n new blog.  :)  I’m not completely finished with it, but I think it’s ok enough to start posting.

Tomorrow I have a senior session with a beautiful young girl.  I’ve actually known her since she was barely in Kindergarten.  I’m almost 30 and knowing she is graduating this year makes me feel even older.  Oh well.  I am looking forward to the shoot, and I’m stock full of ideas.  I’m hoping she will bring her prom dress from last year.  The leaves are at full peak so I know those images would rock.  Hopefully I’ll have some of her snaps up in a few days, that is after I get through the mountain of wedding images I need to put online, not to mention the tower of albums I need to put together.  At least I’m busy.  :)

I will be making individual post for each of my ‘08 shoots too, seniors, e-sessions (engagement sessions), weddings, etc…
